Baked potatoes and sausages

Today I want to share with you a comforting and incredibly flavorful dish: Baked Potatoes and Sausages. Perfect for a stress-free dinner, this recipe combines the rustic sweetness of potatoes with the savory flavor of sausage, all enhanced by the scent of sage and rosemary. Get your apron ready, grab your potatoes, sausages, a pinch of salt, and olive oil: it's time to create magic in the kitchen!
Ingredients:
- 800g of sausages
- 1200g of red or yellow potatoes
- 3 sprigs of rosemary
- 3 sprigs of sage
- olive oil to taste
- salt to taste
Preparation:
1 Remove the rosemary leaves from the sprigs and finely chop them with a knife. 2 Do the same with the sage leaves and begin peeling the potatoes. Once peeled, cut the potatoes in half lengthwise and cut each half into 3 equal wedges. 3. Place the potato wedges in a bowl of water so that they remain submerged.
Once you've finished with the potatoes, mix the chopped herbs in a small bowl, add plenty of olive oil, and toss everything together. Now, in a large bowl, add the drained potatoes and the 4 mixture, and mix everything together by hand. Then 5 evenly distribute the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, remove the sausages, remove the casings, take a portion, and shape 6 into balls about 5 centimeters in size using your hands.
After 20 minutes 7 add the sausage balls and bake for 10 minutes at 200°C in a convection oven. After 10 minutes, move the meatballs, 8 , turning the potatoes, 9 place the sausage balls back in the oven, turning them over, and bake again in a convection oven with the grill on at 200°C for 10 minutes, or until everything is golden brown.
Advise
- Cutting potatoes : be careful to cut all the potatoes into equal wedges to ensure better uniform cooking.
- Additions : For flavoring, you can also use other herbs such as oregano or thyme or add 2-3 cloves of garlic.
